This would-be simple staging project turned into an almost full scale renovation! The scope of the project included concept design, colour consultation, material, furniture and finish selection, showcasing and de-staging. This house had great bones but needed a bit of a facelift to maximize its full potential before being put on the market. Originally painted in a dark outdated tan hue, a colour consultation helped our clients see that a fresh coat of paint could really brighten up the space and make it much more desirable to potential buyers. To complete the main floor, we suggested our clients unify the flooring throughout this level by installing hardwood. Pulling from options within the clients’ budget, we selected this mid-tone, reddish brown maple to modernize the home while complementing its traditional architecture. The end result is a fresh, eclectic spin on the usual bland and excessively coordinated staged space.
