This is the great room we created for an inner-city living young professional couple with a growing family. They were living only in the front room of the home, and felt very closed off from one another when someone was cooking. Moving the kitchen from one side of the home to the other, and opening up many walls, has made all the difference to the amount of light, living space, and family lifestyle the space accommodates.

Mid Century Modern Suite
This cozy 300sqft basement suite is located in a 1908 inner-city home. We wanted this place to be as modern and warm as it could while acting as the perfect blank slate for all future tenant’s decor. The use of mid century modern furniture really transformed this clean-lined apartment into an eclectic, quirky and highly functional small living space.
Our clients wanted to make sure they did this renovation right the first time. They spent money where it made a difference, yet scrimped where they could to stay on budget. It was a long haul, due to challenges presented by the age of the home, but we are all so pleased with how it turned out!
